F. Bryant Keith, 82 of Lillington died Friday, May 7, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A resident of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Jesse Bryant and Novie Johnson Keith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. For 40 years, Mr. Keith worked with South River Electric Membership Corporation, retiring as Director of Member Services. He was a member of Neill's Creek Baptist Church, serving in many capacities, including Chairman of the Deacons, Sunday School Superintendent, and choir member. Mr. Keith was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Sudan Shrine. Active in the Boy Scouts of America, he was an assistant scout master for Troop # 61 and in 1982 was awarded the Silver Beaver Award.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, May 10, 2010 at Neill's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Roberts and Rev. Wayne Oakes officiating. Burial will be in Westview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at Neill's Creek Baptist Church, other times at his home.

Mr. Keith is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Stewart Keith; daughter, Angela K. Mackie of Asheboro; Son,Furman Keith and wife Teresa of Lillington; Grandchildren, Daniel Mackie and wife Heather of Charlotte, Leslie Mackie of Kings Mountain, Jordan and Austin Keith both of Lillington.
