Evelyn Mackie Kent, 92, of Lillington went to Glory Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from home. She was born in Michigan. In WWII, Evelyn took messages for Western Union, and much later dispatched police. She also excelled at Ham Radio and crossword puzzles.

Evelyn loved her husband and 7 daughters, their 20 children, and her 31 great or great-great grandchildren.
