Eva Cameron Warrick, 92, passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, March 9, 2021. She was born August 20, 1928 in Harnett County to the late George D. and Ila H. Cameron.

Eva is survived by her daughter, Angela H. Wright, son-in-law, Mark and their three daughters, Heather, Lauren and Nicole.

After graduating from Boone Trail High School in 1945, Eva attended King's Business College in Raleigh, NC and Flora McDonald College in Red Springs, NC. Her 40 year professional career began at The Bank of Broadway in Broadway, NC.  She later joined the NC Department of Revenue in Sanford, NC, which she happily retired from after 30 years of dedicated service.

Eva truly enjoyed living in the Broadway community. In the early 1960s she served as Town Clerk. A little over 50 years ago she became a charter member of the Broadway Women's Club and served as its 2nd president.

Eva was very proud to be a lifelong and active member of Leaflet Presbyterian Church in Broadway, NC. Her deep faith and strong convictions were nurtured by her involvement at Leaflet. She served in many positions within the church including Elder. She was awarded an honorary life membership in the Presbyterian Women's Organization for years of faithful service.

Most of all, Eva deeply loved her family. She was very proud of her daughter, son-in-law and three beloved granddaughters and enjoyed celebrating life's milestones with them. Love and lots of laughter were always part of the celebration.

Eva, or Gran Gran as she was called by her granddaughters, was not only very special to her family members but also to the many friends that knew her. She will be forever missed but will always be in our hearts and loving memories.

In addition to her parents Eva was preceded in death by her brother, George Edward Cameron and husband, Guy Warrick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Leaflet Presbyterian Church, 7830 McDougald Road, Broadway, NC 27505.

A  service in celebration of Eva's life will be held at 1 pm Friday, March 12, 2021 at Leaflet Presbyterian Church (masks will be required). Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
