Mrs. Eula "Monk" Baucom, 96, of Fuquay-Varina passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Rex UNC Hospital in Holly Springs. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Carlie Powell and Hattie Bell Ausley Powell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Baucom; daughter, Shirley Jordan; granddaughter, Lisa Smith and 5 sisters and a brother.

Eula enjoyed crocheting and collecting numerous bells. She also enjoyed talking to her neighbor, friends, and family. She was a member of Christian Light Christian Church in Fuquay-Varina. Eula loved visiting with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and eating her Reese Cups and Kit Kats.

Eula is survived by her daughter, Darlene Revels and husband Jeff of Fuquay-Varina; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Christian Light Christian Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina with Rev. Jimmy Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
