Mrs. Ethel Johnson Williams, 72, of Lillington died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her home. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of Eldo Johnson Sr. and Berta Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lonnie Dean, Cecil Dean and Clyde Williams; sisters, Hazel Brown, Estelle Burgess, Maude Johnson, Narvie Hall; brothers, E.H. Johnson, Jr., Franklin Johnson, Roger Johnson and a grandson, Jonathon Upchurch. She enjoyed gospel music, hummingbirds, planting flowers, crafts and shopping.

Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Altman and Rev. Darrell Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

She is survived by a son, Chris Dean and wife Donna of Sanford; grandson, Hunter Dean of Sanford;2 brothers, Ronald Johnson and wife Dot of Lillington, Robert Johnson and wife Joyce of Broadway and several nieces and nephews.
