Miss Elisse Louise Cassio, 31, of Raleigh, formerly of Lillington, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017. Elisse was born in Raleigh on May 6, 1985, the beloved daughter of Jan Cassio of Lillington and Marvin Cassio and wife, Ellie, of Cary.

She was a kind, caring and gentle spirit who deeply loved her family and friends as family. Elisse will be greatly missed by them all and remembered for her outgoing personality, smile, loyalty and care for those in her life.

Elisse is survived by her parents and a brother, Dion Samuel Cassio of the home; aunts & uncles, Regina, Shirley and Donna Turlington all of Lillington, Nina T. Smith and husband, Jeff, of Pinehurst, NC, Cheryl Cassio of Texas, and Darlene and husband, Melvin, of Colorado. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Lillington Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Selman officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
