Elaine "Lucy" Martin, 62 of Lillington passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 surrounded by her family.

Elaine was born in Cumberland Co. to the late Louise Williams and Neil Scott. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Neil Calvin and Ronnie Calvin.

Elaine was a beloved wife, mother and sister. She was the best grandmother that any grandchild could want. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gerald Martin of Lillington; 3 daughters, Michelle Bynum of Vass, Veronica Trinkle of Lillington, Nancy Carroll of Hope Mills; a sister, Betty Schueneman of Lillington; a brother, Billy Scott of Wilmington; 7 grandchildren, Donivan Martin, Brittany Martin, Tara Trinkle, Neil Carroll, Kayla Carroll, Gerald Carroll and Joshua Brown; 2 great grandchildren, Joshua Martin and Kayden Martin.
