Ms. Elaine Mangum Dickerson, 62, of Broadway, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 18, 2020.

Elaine was a dedicated postal worker for 27 years.  She loved to fish and watch Nascar; she also loved to watch her recorded TV shows, especially Westerns.

Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dickerson; and parents, Wiley and Inez Mangum.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly Tart and husband Jeremy of Lillington; son, Brandon Dickerson of the home; step-son, Scott Dickerson of Wadesboro;  two grandchildren, Cheyenne Sladek and husband Chris and Hunter Tart; adopted grandchild, Zayden Gautier; sister, Ruth Coore and husband James of Broadway; her aunt, Shirley Holder of Lillington; uncles, Oscar Holder of Lillington and Earl Holder of Broadway; and two nieces and many cousins.
