Mr. Edward Paul Cunningham, 73, of Lillington, passed away Monday, December 02, 2019.

Ed was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.  Following the military, he worked with his wife, Sharon, helping others start their own businesses.  Ed was real and people were drawn to his personality.  He loved helping to inspire other people to succeed.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2 pm at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Charlotte Cunningham.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Cunningham; four sons, Michael Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham and wife Michele, Chad Cunningham and Wyatt Cunningham; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers, EJ Cunningham and Jim Cunningham; and 3 sisters, Pat Cunningham, Charlene Cunningham and Renee Cunningham.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6 from 12 to 1 pm at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington.
