Mrs. Edna Chandler Rambeaut, 83, of Broadway died Monday, January 16, 2012 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. She was born in Lee County, the daughter of the late Murnice and Verla Fincher Chandler. Mrs. Rambeaut was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Eugene P. Rambeaut.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel in Lillington with Rev. Paul Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 PM.

She is survived by son, Jimmy Shaw and wife Donna of Sanford; son, Fred Rambeaut and wife Laura of Dunn; daughter, Barbara Womack and husband Nolan Womack of Sanford; 4 grandchildren, Raymond and Dean Shaw, Christopher D. Womack, Robin Renee Hall; 4 great- grandchildren.
