Edith Mae Withrow Bailey, 70 of Lillington died Monday, June 13, 2016.

Edith was born February 15, 1947 in Glen Jean, WV to the late Russell and Sadie Withrow. Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis B. Bailey; a daughter, Susan Jane Bailey; 2 brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Withrow; and a sister, Mary Alice Withrow.

Edith loved fishing and animals. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking.

Edith is survived by her companion, Jerry Baird of the home; 2 sons, Dennis Patrick Bailey and wife Joy of Lillington, Thomas Gregg Bailey and wife Ginger of Lillington; a sister, Rose Bennett of SC; 7 grandchildren, Samantha and Holly Bailey, Dustan Osborne, Dustin, DJ, Bailei "BB" and Kimberly Bailey; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her special puppy Trixie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, June 17, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at the home of Dennis and Joy Bailey.
