Earl Joseph Proctor, 85, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday June 30, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Earl retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Army. He served in Korea and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge (CIB).

Earl was the son of the late John Hodge and Patty Proctor. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Marie Proctor, 2 sons, Donald and David Proctor.

Earl is survived by 3 sons, Danny, Mark, and Robert Proctor; 4 sisters, Marie Sellers and husband Horace of Lillington, Althena Perkerson and Myra Stallings both of Spring Hope, and Katherine Whitehead of Wilmington.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 3, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Mamers with Rev. Jeffrey Sholar officiating.
