Dorothy B. Bain, 73 of Lillington died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at her home. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Moody W. and Agnes Burgess Brock. Dorothy was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Floyd Brock.

Dorothy retired from the NC Department of Education as a Purchasing Agent for the NC Community College system and also from BB&T as a Bank Teller. She was a member of Cape Fear Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hugh Bain. Brothers: Eldridge Brock of Virginia; Roy Brock of Chapel Hill; Larry Brock of Durham; Robert Brock of Stanley; Wayne Brock of Wallace. Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Cape Fear Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Roger Horne officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Lillington. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45 Sunday in the church fellowship hall, other times at her home.
