17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren

Faye was happiest when she was taking care of her family. She loved cooking for the people she loved and was always looking to try a new recipe and making sure nobody left her house hungry. Cooking was her passion and it was one of the many ways she showed her love.

She also loved gardening and took great pride in her flowers. Her green thumb was evident throughout her home, where she created a beautiful and welcoming place for her family.

She was an avid reader, she enjoyed books by James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks, Stephen King and Cookbooks, she would read a cookbook from cover to cover.

She also had a love for Southern Gospel music, with The Greenes and The McKamey's and Carroll Roberson were among her favorites. Each Saturday and Sunday evening she looked forward to watching Daniel O'Donnell on RFD-TV. She always watched Sunday morning preaching with John Hagee, Charles Stanley, and David Jeremiah.

Faye possessed a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in creating tall tales for her grandchildren-some of which they may still believe to this day. She also enjoyed watching Westerns, Bonanza, Gunsmoke and any western with John Wayne in it.

Most of all she loved her family. She was always there when they needed her. She was a nurturer, a caregiver, and the person so many could count on. Faye's favorite grandchild was always the one standing right in front of her at that moment. She had a way of making each child, grandchild feel loved and important, and her family knew they always had a place with her.

Above all, Faye loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life and a source of strength and comfort throughout the years. She was a long time member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lillington.

She will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her sweet spirit, her wonderful sense of humor, and her unwavering faith. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, recipes, laughter, and love that her family will carry with them forever.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
