Donna Kay Stone Denton, 59 of Lillington passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016.

Donna was born October 28, 1956 to the late Shirley Matthews Carroll and Alger Stone. She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Stone Redwine.

Donna was a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church. She enjoyed the beach and traveling. She loved her family and her dogs.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Flatwoods Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at the home of Lewis Stone.

Donna is survived by her husband, Johnny Denton of Lillington, a step-son, Jamie Denton of Coats; a brother, Lewis Stone and wife Joyce of Lillington; a half-brother, Jimmy Holder of Sanford; a half-sister, Carolyn Deese of Sanford; sister-in-law, Stacey Stone of Gadsden, AL; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 nieces, Raquel Stone and fiancé Marty Crawford of Lillington and Amber Gilstrap of Cleveland GA; a nephew, Aaron Stone of Lillington; a great niece, Peighton Stone; a great nephew, Cohen Crawford.
