Donald E. Rogers , 68 of Lillington died Friday, September 7, 2012 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Edd Earl and Mildred Andrews Rogers and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Rogers. Mr. Rogers for formerly employed with Static Control in Sanford.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel. Burial will be in the Rogers Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home.

Mr. Rogers is survived by 2 sons: Tony Earl Rogers and wife Katrina of Sanford. Donald Phillip Rogers and wife Ellen of Okatie, SC. Sister, Debbie Rogers Hart of Lillington. 3 Grandchildren, Matthew Earl Rogers, Tonia Danielle Rogers, and Justin Phillip Rogers. 2 great grandchildren
