Mr. Donald Wayne Christian, 50, of Lillington passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born in Lee County, the son of William Herbert Christian, Jr. and Ila Douglas Christian. Before medically retiring, Donald worked for Lee Iron and Metal in Sanford. He was a loving, kind-hearted person who was a friend to everyone. Donald loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandparents, George and Hattie Douglas and Herbert and Nora Christian.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Cool Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM and other times at the home.

In addition to his parents, Donald is survived his daughter, Casey Christian of Lillington, 2 grandchildren, Abby and Joseph, 2 sisters, Gale Stone of Broadway and Amy Christian of Lillington, wife, Heike Christian of Lillington.
