Dolly H. Brightman, age 77 of Kipling, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, December 18, 2017. Dolly was the daughter of the late Elois and Josephine Bryant Holder. Dolly was a strong spiritual leader in her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved them deeply and was the family cornerstone her entire life.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel in Lillington with Rev. Jimmy Holder officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in West Virginia at a later date.

Dolly is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles D. Brightman, Sr. Daughters: Kimberly Mar Cruz and husband Nate of Kipling. Wendy Dement and husband Jason of Fuquay-Varina. Son, Charles "Chuck" Brightman and wife Chardae of Hico, West Virginia. 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
