Mrs. Dianna Matthews, 69, of Lillington passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Hughie Edward and Maude Beatres Matthews Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Matthews. Dianna owned and operated Di's Daycare in Lillington for many years. She loved children as if they were her own.

Dianna is survived by her sons, Jason Matthews and wife Connie of Lillington, Bryan Matthews of Lillington; 5 grandchildren, Austin Matthews and wife Rocel, Anthony Matthews, Cole Matthews, Charlotte Matthews and Seth Matthews; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 30, 2021 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
