Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle, Dennis Allen Thomas, passed away on April 7, 2023 at his home, after an 18 month battle with cancer.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary, sons Dennis (Angela), Michael (Anabel), Aaron (Melissa) and Jacob, brothers and sisters, Edwin J, Denise, Debbie, Darren, Daniel, Darcy and Dolores, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Sophia, Father, Edwin C. and brother Jesse.

Dennis was a Veteran of the Marine Corps and served bravely in Vietnam, he was awarded the distinguished flying cross and many accolades and awards throughout his military service.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.  Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 17th at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel beginning at 12:30 pm.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:30 am.  Burial will be at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 2 pm.
