Ms. Dellar Claudine Caulder (Cooke), 83, formerly of Fayetteville and Fuquay Varina, recently passed away.

Dellar turned her love for children into a reputable day care business that the community of Fayetteville grew to know and love. She owned and operated Dana's 71 st Day Care Centers for over 23 years. In all, she worked in childcare for over 45 years. She was an amazingly kind soul that never met a stranger and would give you the last penny she had even if she didn't know you. She often spoke of the time when she would get to go home to see so many of the family that had gone before her and now she is with them. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her three children, William Ernest Caulder, Jr., Walter Earl Caulder and Dana Bett; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Due to the current public gathering restrictions, the family will be having a private graveside service.
