Mr. Delbert Womack, 57 of Broadway died Monday, March 26, 2012 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. A native of Harnett County, he was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Clyde Womack.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 pm Thursday, March 29, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Jonathan Perkins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Souter Womack; Daughter, Amanda Stone and husband Kim of Harnett County; 2 Sons, C.R. and Phillip Womack both of Broadway; Mother, Dorothy Mason and step father Roy Mason of Olivia; 2 brothers, Glenn Womack of Lillington and Thomas Womack of Carthage; 2 sisters, Peggy Gaines of Cameron and Nancy Rochelle of Broadway; 3 grandchildren, Hanna Stone, C.J. and Heaven Lee Womack
