Mrs. Darrow Byrd Sherman, 86 of Lillington died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Rex Rehab and Nursing Center of Apex. She was a native of Harnett County and a life long member of Bunnlevel Presbyterian Church. She celebrated life through the eyes of her grandchildren and great grandchildren as their "Grandmother" or "Gan-Gan".

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Bunnlevel Presbyterian Church, 6417 US 401, Bunnlevel, NC 28323, with Rev. JoAnne Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.

In 2005, Mrs. Sherman was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Sherman.

Mrs. Sherman is survived by 2 daughters, Carmen Mathieu and husband Terry of Lillington and Marsha Lee and husband Michael of Lillington; 4 grandchildren, Leah Fussell and husband Jonathan of Wallace, Noah McDonald and wife Daisy of Lillington, Morgan Jackson and husband Art of Rose Hill, and Hannah Lee and husband Ricky, Jr. of Newton Grove; 3 great grandchildren, Ayden and Camryn Fussell of Wallace and Jacob Lee of Newton Grove.
