Mr. Danny Coleman Turlington, 72, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at his home. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Lee C. Turlington and Myrtie Verlene Stone Turlington. Danny loved playing and coaching softball. He enjoyed beach trips with the family. Danny worked and retired from Goodyear after 34 years of service.

Danny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gaynelle Darroch Turlington of the home; 2 sons, Daniel Scott Turlington of Lillington, Paul Michael Turlington and wife Julie of Eastover; 2 grandchildren, Madison Sexton and Ezra Coleman Turlington; 2 brothers, Larry Turlington and wife Brenda of Erwin, Timmy Lee Turlington of Lillington; 2 sisters, Janice Snipes of Dunn and Peggy Holtgreven and husband Dutch of Ohio; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2023, at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Larry Turlington officiating.
