Danette Lee Walls Foster, 63, of Broadway, NC passed away Sunday October 17, 2021, at her residence.

She was born October 3, 1958, in Harnett County, NC to the late Evelyn Parker Walls and Frank Walls. In addition to her parents, Danette was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Sterling Walls.

Danette pursued a career in education working with the Lee County School System and later as an English and reading instructor at Central Carolina Community College. She had a true passion for helping her students succeed. Danette was an animal lover and enjoyed helping shelter pets and rescues. She loved to care for her goats and dogs. Danette was an avid reader and an accomplished pianist.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Mr. Lawrence Foster, Jr.; her son, Garrett Foster; and her grandson, Liam Foster whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Danette's life will be held at a later date.
