Mr. Dale T. Brown, 65, of Lillington died recently at his home. He was born in Harnett county, the son of the late Mack Chalmers and Christine Cox Brown. Mr. Brown was a long time employee of Sanford Finishing in Sanford. He grew a large garden each year and shared with his family and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Brown; 3 sisters, Ruby Nordan, Nadine Griffin, Jackie Stone; brother, Angus Brown and a grandson, Brandon Hill.

A Graveside will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday December,11 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, in Mamers with Rev. David Anderson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 PM
at O'Quinn-Peebles funeral home on Tuesday December 11, 2012 And other times at the home of Connie and J.D. Colville

Mr. Brown is survived by his Daughter- Tonya M. Brown of Lillington; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; Sister, Mamie Jo Darroch of Lillington; Brothers, Mack Brown of Mamers and Robin Brown of Mamers and Special niece- Connie Colville and husband J.D. of Lillington; Several nieces and nephews.
