Cynthia (Cindy) Barnes Newton, 61, of Lillington, died at her home Wednesday afternoon, December 24th. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Community Church in Angier, officiated by Pastor Brad Talley, Saturday, December 27th. The family will receive visitors at the church at 12pm with the funeral to follow at 1pm. Graveside service will held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Durham at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Newton; her children Josh Newton, Katie Carpenter, Zack Newton, and Andy Newton; and her grandchildren Ryan, Alex, Abby, and Josiah.

Cindy loved the Lord! She had an infectious laugh, a loving and caring spirit, and a generous nature. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family, and friends alike. She is remembered by her family as a loving and wonderful wife and mother.
