Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Coates Baker, 50 of Holly Springs was called home Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at Wake Med Cary Hospital.

Cindy was born March 5, 1965 in Wake Co. She was a fantastic wife, beloved mother and best friend of her children and beautiful granddaughters who adored her. She loved her mom, dad and brothers. Nana will be forever in our hearts, and continue to inspire our lives. She enjoyed spending time with family and hosting get-togethers at her home. She was a devout Christian and member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved the beach and trips to Disney World with her sweet babies. She was the Vice-President of Loan Operations in the banking industry for several years.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 33 years, J.G. Baker of Holly Springs; 2 children, Joshua Baker and wife Heather of Fuquay-Varina and Tristan Baker Moorer and husband Jordan of Holly Springs; her parents, Ray and Ellon Gilbert Coates of Fuquay-Varina; father and mother-in-law, Jimmie Gray Baker, Sr. and Eloise Baker Cade; 2 brothers, Daniel Coates and wife Tracy of Fuquay-Varina and Shane Coates and wife Sonya of Watkinsville, GA; 3 granddaughters, Rylee Elizabeth Moorer, Peyton Rae Moorer and Natalie Ann Baker; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church, Holly Springs with Rev. Danny Jarmon officiating. Burial will follow at Wake Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home and other times at the home.
