Mr. Clayton J. Patterson, 75, of Broadway died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at his home. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Paul and Zula Patterson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gretha Olive Patterson and a brother, Delmas Patterson. Mr. Patterson was a retired farmer and an active, life-long member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Broadway.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at Holly Spring Baptist Church, Broadway with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday,Feb. 21, 2012 at Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. Patterson is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Bailey and husband Kelly of Sanford; Sons,Thomas J. "Joey" Patterson of Pfafftown; Jody Patterson and wife Gwen of Sanford; Dennis Patterson and wife Tracie of Broadway; Daughter-in-Law, Peggy Patterson of Broadway; Sister, Grace Gillis of Broadway; 7 Grandchildren, great grandchildren
