Obituary

Mrs. Clara Rosser Page, 93, of Lillington died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Harnett Co., the daughter of the late Whaley and Ella Boggan Thomas Rosser. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by her husband, Laurie James Page. She was a long time member and Sunday school teacher at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers. Mrs. Page also served as church historian as well as being a noted local historian. She was a graduate of Boone Trail High School and furthered her education at Campbell College and Central Carolina Technical College. Mrs. Page retired from Harnett County Schools where she was a teacher assistant at South Harnett Elementary School.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 20, 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers with Rev. David Anderson and Rev. Martin Groover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen Page Laugisch of the home; son, Roger W. Page and wife Sandra of Lillington; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
