Charlotte Austin Howard, 72 of Fuquay-Varina passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home.

Charlotte was born in Newport News, VA to the late Wilbur and Olga Winfield Austin. Charlotte was preceded in death by 2 sons, David Goshern and Greg Gerehart.

She was talented in many different areas. She loved spending time with her children and grand children. She was a Christian and loved the Lord.

Charlotte is survived by 6 children, Angie Gere, Tony Gerehart and wife Sandy, Cindy Heyborne and husband Sam, Sherry Gerehart, Linda Winn and husband Joe, Tracy Bowling and husband Chris; 4 brothers; 1 sister; 22 grand children; and 22 great grand children.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Rawls Baptist Church, Fuquay-Varina. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Park Lawn Memorial Park, Hampton VA.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Lineburger Comprehensive Cancer Center, External Affairs Office, UNC-CH CB# 7295, Chapel Hill NC 27599-7295.A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M.
