Charles Ross II, age 74

An Interment service for Charlie Ross II, who passed away on January 7, 2015 will be held Saturday, May 30th at 2pm at Summerville Presbyterian Church in Lillington, NC. Pastor Art Ross will be officiating.

Mr. Ross, of Knoxville, TN grew up in Greenville and graduated from J.H. Rose High School. He received a BA of Architecture from North Carolina State University in 1966. After graduation, he and his wife, Linda, moved to Knoxville where he worked for TVA. In 1972, Charlie founded his architecture firm, Design Developments which later became Ross/Fowler, where he completed many projects in Knoxville, surrounding areas and across the nation. Charlie was a man of integrity and honesty, who loved his family and friends dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R Rudolph and Virginia Ross and grandson, Breton.

Charlie is survived by his loving family; wife of 50 years, Linda; son and daughter in law, Doug and Jennifer; daughter, Kelly; and grandchildren Jacob, Zachary, Hannah, and Drew; brother, Rudy; sisters and brother in law, Ginger Sermons, Frankie and Tom Patterson, and Anne Makover; brother in law, Ronnie and Joy Garner and sister in law, Cindy and Rick Veals; nieces and nephews, Bill, Mark, Ross, Joanna, Charlie, Mollie, Thomas, Ricky and Nicholas.
