Mr. Charles Edward Denson, Sr., 72, of Mamers passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born in Syracuse, NY the son of the late Edward Denson and Florence Burdick. Charles loved to hunt and fish. He worked hard in the construction industry for many years. Charles also worked in factories while living in New York. He also served as a volunteer fireman in Fulton, NY. He was a loving father and grandfather, who loved everybody and helped anyone in need.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at OQuinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Patrick Broaddus officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Korrin Denson of the home; son, Charles Denson, Jr.; son, Joseph Denson; daughter, Susan Denson; daughter, Connie Denson; son, James Denson; son, Joshua Denson; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Denson.
