Mr. Charles Thomas Denkins, 82, of Lillington passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Senter's Memory Care Community in Fuquay-Varina. He was born in Lee County, the son of the late Grady and Ida Pennix Denkins. Charles was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Raymond, Walter, Carl, Porter, Lester and R.J. Denkins; 3 sisters, Bessie D. Stevens, Mae D. Luck and Maxie D. Eads.

Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Faye D. Denkins of the home; sister, Essie D. Lee of Hendersonville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Rick Beacham officiating. The family will receive friends at the home anytime prior to the service and also following the service.
