Mr. Charles Lenwood Collins, 78, of Lillington passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Daniel Cornelius and Erma Hare Collins. Charles worked for East Coast Signs in Lillington for many years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Collins.

Charles is survived by 2 daughters, Debra Roberts and husband Wally of New Bern, Barbara Collins and husband Brian Hammer of Florida; son, Tracy Collins and wife Cynthia of Lillington; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Troy Collins of Sanford, Bobby Collins of Lillington and David Collins of Lillington

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel with Rev. Marshall Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00-6:00 PM.
