Mr. Charles "Chuck" Elmer Keeney, Jr., 50, of Lillington passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. He was born in Greenbrier County, WV, the son of the late, Charles Elmer Keeney, Sr. (father), Mary Jean Tincher (mother) and the late Wayne Tincher (stepfather).

Chuck was very family-oriented and loved his family more than anything. He took so much pride in being a new grandfather and getting to know his grandson was his greatest joy. Chuck was a dependable man who helped anyone with anything- Most people who knew him would say you could always count on him. He was hard-working and always made sure his family was taken care of. Chuck was a jokester and his laugh was contagious. He never took anything too seriously and had a great sense of humor. He was tough, strong willed, protective and stubborn, and that is how he will be remembered. His family is deeply saddened by his passing- he will remain in their hearts and forever be missed.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Bobbie Keeney of the home; daughter, Maranda Hogel and husband Jeremy of Sanford; grandson, Callen Hogel; mother, Jean Tincher of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Michael Tincher of Ohio.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel in Lillington with Pastor Dale Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
