Mr. Charles L. Burleson, 69 of Lillington died Monday, October 22, 2012 at his home. A native of Mississippi, he was the son of the late Herbert "Bert" and Katherine Moody Burleson. Charles worked with Nortell Electronics as an engineer for 17 years prior to his retirement in 1995.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 26, 2012 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Herbert Burleson officiating. Burial will be in Westview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Burleson is survived by his wife, Georgia McFall Burleson. Daughters, Joyce B. Reynolds and husband Todd of Lillington; Amy B. Thompson and husband Bobby of Fuquay-Varina. Brother, Herbert Burleson of Mississippi. 4 Grandchildren: Jordan Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Joshua Reynolds, and Corbin Thompson.
