Mrs. Charlene West Sharp, 62, of Lillington died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Tynie and Charles West. In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Sharp, Jr.; sister, Diane and Carl Moore and nephew, Charlee Stack. Charlene worked at the N.C. State Lab and the Harnett County Health Department. She retired from Harnett County with over 30 years of service.

Charlene is survived by her son, Jason Sharp and wife, Tonya of Lillington; daughter, Jennifer Brock of Lillington; 5 grandchildren, Walker Brock and fiancée, Tabitha Bowling, Ryan Sharp, Alexis Brock, Alex Sharp, James McPherson; great-grandson, Xaiden "Boo Boo" McPherson and one on the way, Oakley; son-in-law, Eric Brock of Lillington; brother, Ronald West and wife Linda of Lillington; sister, Connie Stack and husband, Gary of Lillington; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Everette Turlington of Lillington.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Daniel Selman officiating. The family will receive friends after service at the cemetery.
