Mr. C.L. Coleman, 82 of Lillington died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Universal Health Care in Lillington. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late James S. and Delia Byrd Coleman and was preceded in death by a brother James Coleman and sister Roena C. Rogers. C.L. was an avid horseman and had a great love for all kinds of animals.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at O'Quinn-Peebles Chapel with Rev. Carl Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30--2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home, other times at his home.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Catherine "Pat" Coleman; daughter, Marsha C. Rawls and husband Mike of Lillington; son Anthony Dale Coleman of Lillington; sisters, Addie C. Faucett of Lillington; Polly O'Quinn of Fuquay-Varina; seven grandchildren; Joshua, Caleb, Nathan Rawls; Rachel Baucom and Grace Harvey, Nicole Renee and Melissa Ann Coleman; eight great grandchildren.
