Mr. Cecil S. Johnson, 58, of Fuquay-Varina, died Saturday, August 7 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Cecil was a master carpenter by trade and took great pride in his work. Cecil was an active member of Freedom Biker Church and was a Christian example to all people.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:30 pm Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Freedom Biker Church, Angier with Rev. Rusty Rawls and Rev. Perry Cotton officiating. Burial will be in Baptist Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Fuquay-Varina.

The family will receive friends at Freedom Biker Church from 1:00-2:30 prior to the service, other times at his home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Biker Church, 275 A Bowling Springs Drive, Angier, NC 27501.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Annette McKinney Johnson of the home; Son, Scotty Johnson of the home. Parents, Edward and Joyce Holland Johnson Fuquay-Varina; Sister, Rebecca J. Matthews and husband Halford of Fuquay-Varina
