Carolyn Blanchard Wimple, 65 of Lillington died peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh.

Carolyn was born September 23, 1951 in Harnett co. to the late Charles and Hortense Blanchard.

Carolyn is survived by 2 daughters, Paula Jernigan and Lesley Beasley both of Lillington; a brother, Jerry Blanchard and wife Kay of Christian Light; 3 grandchildren, Ricky Blanchard and wife Leanna of Lillington, Taylor and Brooke Beasley; and 4 great grandchildren, Greyson Wright, Layla Sunderman, Annabelle Blanchard and Paisley Blanchard.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Teaching Pastor Terry Beatty officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-6:00 P.M. Wednesday.
