Mrs. Carolyn Jean Mason Sandy, 73, of Fuquay-Varina passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her home. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Kenton and Ruth Tingen Mason. Carolyn enjoyed crafts and gardening. She was a long time member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Fuquay-Varina with Rev. Christie Burley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 3:00-4:00 PM and other times at the home.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 47 years, Franklin Sandy of the home, sons, Ken Sandy and wife Gayle of Holly Springs, Philip Sandy of Fuquay-Varina, 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke and Emma, sister, Betsy Crabtree of Fuquay-Varina.
