Carol Green Marshall, 59 of Durham formally of Kipling passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2017.

Carol was born September 16, 1957 in Harnett Co. to the late Wallace and Mavis Johnson Green. She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Waves Green and her granny, Leah Harmon Green.

She enjoyed going for a ride and spending time with her sister.

Carol is survived by a daughter Sherry Lynn Marshall; 3 sisters, Donna Jean Green of Kipling, Mary DeJarnette and husband Waylon of Apex and June Johnson of Conway, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 15, 2017 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Harnett Memorial Park with Rev. Melinda Ivey officiating.
