Carol "Jean" Autry Hickman, 73, of Lillington passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her home.

Jean was born February 16, 1942 in Harnett Co. to the late Neill and Mamie Holder Autry. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Calvert E. Autry and Billy Ray Autry; a sister, Francis Christine Autry Pruitt.

Jean was a member of Black Creek Worship Center. She loved the members of her church and spending time with her family. She loved to bless others and was a blessing to many. She loved to take trips to the beach.

Jean is survived by her daughter, MeLissa Carol Aurty and fiancé Ken Marshburn of Lillington; a sister, Georgia M. Staton and husband Allen "Al" of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Holder officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral Home and other times at the home.
