Mrs. Carol Stanley Coleman, 69, of Dunn passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Pike County, KY, the daughter of the late Rell and Canary Stanley. Carol was a devoted and loving Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. She was also an adoptive mother and grandmother to many. Carol was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Edward Coleman.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Lillington Church of God with Rev. David Porter and Rev. Keith Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington and other times at the home.

Carol is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Coleman of the home; 2 daughters, Laura Evans of Erwin and Susan Autry and husband, Dwayne of Coats; 4 granddaughters, Amber Coleman, Addison Autry, Emma Autry and Elizabeth Evans; sisters, Patricia Ratliff, Stella Louise Smith, Sandra Blackburn, Jennifer Stanley; brothers, Jeffrey Neil Stanley, Rell Darwin Stanley, Paul David Stanley.
