Mrs. Brenda Sue Tutor Suggs, 74, of Lillington, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Brenda was born and raised in the Fuquay-Varina area.  She was retired from the State of North Carolina Treasury.  She loved reading her Bible and taking care of all her family.

A private graveside service will be held.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Samuel Suggs; and brothers, Gene and Franklin Tutor.

Brenda is survived by two daughters, Wendy Suggs Dorman and husband Stephen Dorman of Angier and Mistie Suggs Baker of Lillington; one grandchild, Amber Dorman of Angier; two great-grandchildren, Patricia Hill and Fiona Hill, both of Angier; and four siblings, Marie Collins of Fuquay-Varina, Judy McLean of Black Mountain, Alvin Tutor of Lillington and Mary Thomas of Lillington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
