Mr. Billy Ray Adams, 69, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Joseph Roosevelt Adams and Mary Avery Adams. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Jimmy Adams; sister, Melinda Autry; beloved dog, Buddy. Billy was a very loving and generous person.

Billy is survived by his brother, David Adams of Lillington; sister, Diane Tyndall and husband Wayne of Dunn; nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, November 22, 2021, at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
