Dwayne Parrish, 46, of Lillington died Thursday, July 13, 2017. A native of Johnston County, Dwayne worked as a nuclear technician with Duke-Progress Energy at the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant in New Hill. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers. Dwayne was a devoted family man. He loved to give and share of his talents to all who knew him and was a faithful friend. Dwayne loved to snowboard, play golf and to fish with his Dad.

Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Deaton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1:00-3:00 PM and other times at the home of Elaine LeTrent.

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Jennifer LeTrent Parrish; daughters, Kristen Parrish of Lillington and Allie Parrish of the home; parents, Billy and Brenda Parrish of Selma; brother, Gary Parrish and his wife Mindy of Dunn; mother-in-law, Elaine Sloan LeTrent of Lillington; sister-in-law, Virginia LeTrent Adams and husband David of Greensboro; brother-in-law, Stephen LeTrent and wife Kathryn of Peoria, AZ; nephews, Logan Parrish and Jude LeTrent; nieces, Aslan Parrish and Eva LeTrent.
