Mr. Billy Brewer, 57 of Lillington died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Brewer and Virgie "Jenny" DeHarden. Billy was owner and operator of SamCor Trucking Company in Lillington. He was a veteran with the United States Army.

Graveside service with Military Rites will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2012 at Westview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Cecil McNeill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the SECU Family House, 123 Old Mason Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517

Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jeanne B. Brewer; Son, Sammy Brewer and wife Jennifer of Lillington; Daughter, Cory Brewer of Lillington; Sisters, Mitzie Fellers of Houston, Texas, Becky Lord of Wacco, Texas and Patty Cronk of Porter, Texas.
