Mrs. Beth Wilson Womack, 79, of Broadway, went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Beth taught for 32 years at Boone Trail School before retiring.  She was very involved with her church, Holly Springs Baptist.  She was active with the WMU and a former choir member.  She also helped with Meals on Wheels.

Beth touched the lives of others as evidenced by her faithful writing of thank-you notes and her encouraging cards and letters.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 3 pm at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Broadway, with Revs. Scott Yow and Jerry Parsons presiding.  The burial will follow at the Womack Family Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck J. Womack, Sr.; parents, Duncan C. Wilson, Sr. and Isabelle C. Wilson; and sister, Rebecca Simmons.

She is survived by her two children, Buck J. Womack, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly Womack, and Mary Beth Laratta and her husband, Dave Laratta; three granddaughters, Kerstine McNeill and her husband, Jacob McNeill, Tess Womack, and Hailey Laratta; and two brothers, Duncan C. Wilson, Jr., and Don F. Wilson and his wife, Bettie Mac Wilson.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Beth Womack.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church, c/o the WMU Ministry, 385 Holly Springs Church Road, Broadway, NC 27505.
